In podcast #6, we look into the opposition protests that persist downtown Beirut.
The Arab league has intervened to mediate a possible solution, however the prospects of such a deal are yet unknown. This tensed situation has been accompanied with a sense of disgust among the Lebanese and is pushing people towards social activism.
We also venture into the unknown, the beard of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah*.
* To help dodge protests, Nasrallah’s beard was deemed a zionist resisting beard.
That’s a good thing.
In episode #5, we carry on with our discussions on the latest opposition protests and examine the positive and negative influence of the media campaigns on these protests.
In the light side of the podcast, we move on to MP Nayla Mouawad’s facial hair (Exhibit A, Exhibit B*) with special analysis from Jad after conducting research on the matter.

In episode #3, we try to understand the motives behind Pierre Gemayyel’s assassination as well as the reactions in the Christian street against the Free Patriotic Movement. We also attempt to unravel the reasons behind King Abdallah’s warning of potential civil wars brewing in the middle east.
In episode #2, we continue last week’s quest to understand the reasons behind the call for protests from the Free Patriotic Movement and Hizballah. We also chew over the infiltration of partisan politics into the American University of Beirut student elections.
Ending this week’s podcast will be a surprise final topic to lighten things up.

In this first episode, we discuss the consequences of Hizballah and Amal’s withdrawal from the Lebanese government on the international tribunal for the Hariri assassination, as well as the reasons behind this ’surprise’ resignation.
